AlloyO Special Metal: GR2 TA2 pure titanium head forgings are machined
After a week of raw material preparation, Large-scale GR2 TA2 pure titanium head forgings were sent to the CNC machining workshop by AlloyO Special Metal. After an intense day of processing, three pieces of finished products were finally processed.
GR2 TA2 finished parts have a bowl-shaped structure with sealing grooves on the edges. AlloyO special metal restricted in a careful protection of the edges when processing in the workshop, especially because the head was sealed and connected to the cylinder, and the accuracy requirements were extremely strict.
After the final processing, a bite test with the forging cylinder was well done.
